Now Trending: The Neckerchief

Neckerchiefs from Hermés S/S 10

Thanks in large part to CFDA winner Michael Bastian and Veronique Nichanian, the menswear designer of Hermés, the neckerchief is having somewhat of a Renaissance, having appeared on Bastian and Hermes’ runways for S/S 10. I know, I know – these shows were SO last year, but the strong presence of the item on street style blogs shows that these collections have had a lasting impact. Check out dudes from The SartorialistJak & Jil, and Face Hunter sporting various interpretations of this trend.

I’m happy to say that none of the featured men resembles a Scout, cowboy, or sailor; although, the Face Hunter guy comes close. That said, enjoy the trend yourself! With caution.
