Lovin’ this guy’s updated take on the dandy trend. He took some straight forward basics – shirt, tie, blazer, and trousers – and jazzed them up with unique accessories. I particularly enjoy his vintage items, like the briefcase and what I’ll call the lady brooch. They gave the look a quirky, worn-in feel.

The New Yorker in me is a sucker for monochrome looks. Though they sometimes veer into boresville, an interesting silhouette and/or textures can make them look super high fashion-y.

Sein wears the monochrome look well with a pale grey scoop neck t-shirt and loose, black Y-3 pants. I love the ribbon detail on the collar of the shirt as well as the slight drop crotch on the trousers.

I also love how he brought a pop of color via a bright red bag and some edge with intense metal jewelry from Martin Margiela.

This girl has an ethereality and sweetness that makes me think of a fairytale princess or a soft mound of cotton candy.

Street Style: Insadong, Seoul, Korea

This guy’s shirt caught my eye in Insadong this afternoon. It’s decked out in gold, Old World imagery – carriages, ropes, tassels – and cut like a folded-over rectangle with holes poked out for the head and limbs.

I like how looseness of the shirt and pants. I also love how the piercings and black leather bracelets give the look a bit of hardness.

There’s something revolutionary about a man a wearing gaudy silk print shirt, especially paired with drop crotch pants and silver Birkenstocks. It’s a feminine look that brings to mind luxurious Italian housewives and church lady scarves, but the the right kind of man can make it seem completely natural.
